Wind Chimes

For this project, you may either design a wind chime or a mobile. Basically, you will need to design a ceramic piece that is split into parts that will be hung together to make a cohesive piece of hanging art.

Requirements of the project are:

  • Design a cohesive project comprised of several, separate elements.
  • create a design that will allow the piece to be connected and hang in the correct manner, Balancing weight and hole placement.
  • Exhibit craftsmanship in the completed version.
  • Finish project using glaze, under-glaze, sgraffito, or acrylic paint.

***Utilize Google and Pinterest to research some image inspiration. Pieces should be hand built. Be sure to consider how the pieces will hang.
